2. North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences
The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences is the oldest and largest museum of its sort in the southeastern United States, located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Pullen Park, founded in 1887, is North Carolina’s oldest public park. North Hills Club
On June 5, 1961, North Hills Club was formed with a modest clubhouse, three hard tennis courts, and a family pool in the new North Hills community. With the membership approaching 500 families, the club made its first major expansion a quarter-century later.
